John de Regt

As founder and Principal of JDR Consulting, I help senior executives improve their business outcomes, through executive coaching, sounding board, and business consulting. My clients include United Technologies,  L-3 Communications, Spencer Stuart, the Environmental Defense Fund, Univar, Emcor and the New York Museum of Science, and I have completed multiple engagements for several of these firms.

I have 40 years of leadership and professional experience, which includes the past two years as a coach and 25 years as an executive search consultant, gained as partner in three of the top global search firms. In December of 2010, I completed the Coaching Intensive Training program at the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, one of the most prestigious and comprehensive coaching certification programs in the United States.

As partner and practice leader at Spencer Stuart, Heidrick & Struggles and Russell Reynolds Associates, I managed hundreds of top-level searches around the world and learned to recognize the qualities that make some individuals very successful.  Working with these senior executives as both clients and candidates over the years, I have often served in the role of trusted advisor. Having retired from a satisfying search career, I look forward to helping clients address their challenges and achieve new successes.
